The Riddell Library and Learning Centre at the Mount Royal University located in Calgary, Canada has been under construction since August of 2014. Completion is scheduled for this year with a grand opening in the Fall. The new building will be four times the size of the current library – totaling 16,000 square metres with an estimated cost of $85.8M. The new library will feature group study rooms, media production rooms, multimedia teaching areas and seating for 1,496 students. All of the new areas are equipped to support current technology.
